FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I enter?
ONLY 350 riders will be allowed to ride in 2019. In order to enter online, you will need a valid credit card. If you do not have a credit card and would like to enter manually please email firstname.lastname@example.org – you will avoid the online entry administration fee if you enter manually.
What are the entry fees?
The entry fee is R4350.00 for a SOLO rider and R8700.00 per team.
The entry includes deliciously catered dinner at registration in the evening on Wednesday 18th and LUNCH
on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th AND Saturday 21st.
Dinner will be served at the Race Village for all competitors from the evening of Wednesday 19th September and LUNCHES will be provided to the riders on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th September as well as on Saturday 21st September. There will also be a vegetarian dish option available and all Meals will be prepared by a professional local catering company. There will be coffee / tea and snacks available at the venues before the start but riders are encouraged to eat breakfast at their accommodation before coming to the venue this year.
What is the minimum age to enter?
Elite (Racing license riders) – 19 years old by the 31st December 2019. Fun Riders – 19 years old by the 31st December 2019.
Where do I collect my race number?
There will be a registration on Wednesday 18th September and again on Thursday morning the 19th September. Please see the Daily Schedule that will be online for details.
Who can enter?
Anybody who is over the minimum age of the event – the rider will need to have turned 19 by the end of the 31st December 2019. Clearly you need to be able to ride a bicycle and have trained and be moderately fit to participate. If you are unsure of your fitness levels or medical status, please visit your doctor first.
